Sharon Cannava is a Classical Pilates instructor with a warm and integrative teaching style. Originally trained in 2004 by Joseph Pilates’s protégé and master trainer, Romana Kryzanowska, Sharon earned additional certification from the Pilates Method Alliance in 2009. A lifelong student of movement, Sharon holds a B.S. in Dance Education from New York University, and is a 200-hour RYT Yoga instructor certified by BambooMoves in Englewood. She is a proud graduate of Jason Ray Brown’s 108-hour Anatomy Studies for Movement Professionals course, and a Level-1 Yoga Tune Up® instructor, a method that includes self-care therapy ball techniques that she finds delightfully effective for her Pilates clients.
